About ACU Debate

The ACU Debate Team is the oldest student organization at Abilene Christian University. It is comprised of over 25 students from varying degrees, disciplines, and walks of life. We travel and compete in debate competitions all over the country.

Recent Accomplisments

Over the 2022-2023 Debate Season, we competed in 11 different tournaments, traveled to 5 different states, and received over 100 awards. Among these, ACU Debate ranked 2nd overall in the nation, with 3 of our students becoming National Champions.
